If you want to live on a farm, you have a great opportunity here. Bökeliden is located in Ljungby municipality in Hörda where you live very beautifully in the middle of animals and nature. In addition to Susanne Pilarp (Lilla Huset i Småland), mountain cows and Gotland sheep, 2 dogs and the cat Pelle also live here. The holiday apartment has 3 single beds upstairs and a sofa bed for one person. The apartment has a smart TV and WiFi. On the ground floor you have a kitchen with dining area, electric hob/oven, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. From the kitchen you have direct access to the terrace which has a wonderful view of nature and grazing animals. On the ground floor there is a small bathroom with shower, sink and WC. On the lovely terrace you can sit and enjoy the sheep and cows that wander past. There is an electric barbecue and garden furniture. Freezer and microwave are in the same building but in another room. You have access to a sauna in the yard. In the area around Hörda there are many lakes such as. Flåren and Furen. You can cycle to Sandvik at Flåren which has a nice sandy beach or to Smålands Hawaii at Lake Furen which has a jetty, sandy beach and evening sun. In Lagmansryd or Furulund you can hire a boat and go fishing. Lake Furen has very good fishing and is known for its large zander.

We spent a wonderful and relaxing time here at Susanne's farm. The farm is beautifully surrounded by meadows, pastures and woods, away from the road and is an idyll in the Småland countryside.
The warm welcome from our hostess Susanne and her two friendly dogs made us feel welcome and at ease.
This makes the Drängstugan holiday home a place of absolute well-being! Cosily furnished with great attention to detail and a harmonious colour scheme, complete with everything you need for a pleasant stay!
The kitchen is well equipped and there is a cosy dining area. Particularly good is the soreThere is a lovely terrace that can be accessed directly from the kitchen. It invites you to linger. You have a wonderful view of the pasture and can watch the cows and sheep go about their business, look up at the beautiful beech tree or just enjoy the landscape.
We slept very well in the cosy beds and were woken up gently by the rooster in the morning, just as we like it on the farm!
The holiday home is also very well equipped technically, with TV, wifi, etc., which was not important to us as we enjoyed being in nature, experiencing life on the farm and exploring the beautiful countryside on walks.

We spent four wonderful nights with Susanne on her idyllic farm and it was a thoroughly relaxing time. Surrounded by nature and animals we were able to experience country life at its best.
Susanne provided us with fresh eggs, which we really enjoyed at breakfast. The atmosphere on the farm was totally relaxed and we had a great time.
A particular highlight was that we had bicycles available on site. This allowed us to actively explore the beautiful surroundings, including Småland's Hawaii and many other places worth seeing nearby.
The farm itself is sThe farm is well maintained and can be reached via a long driveway - it is wonderfully quiet and not directly on the road. The neighbouring pastures with cows and sheep give it a special idyll. Susanne's two dogs were extremely friendly and always available for a few cuddles - a real plus for animal lovers.
The cottage is modern and furnished with great attention to detail in typical Swedish style. The beds are very cosy and there is plenty of sleeping space upstairs. A TV with the possibility to use Netflix and Prime or transfer content via Bluetooth from your mobile phone (casting) is also available. The kitchen is well equipped and the small bathroom with shower was sufficient for our stay.
The terrace, which is accessed directly from the dining area, is an ideal place to retreat and enjoy the peace and quiet - whether it's with a good book, a coffee or just relaxing in the fresh air. Its sheltered position invites you to spend cosy hours outdoors.

In wonderful Swedish nature and countryside lies the beautiful village of Hörda and the beautiful farm Bökeliden. At the farm, I received a warm and cordial welcome from both the animals and the hostess who is also the owner of the farm and is responsible for all the animals, forest and land and ensures that the guests have the best conditions to thrive. Everything was well thought out for a comfortable, relaxing and experiential stay. This is the dream place for those who like animals, walks and excursions in beautiful surroundings in Småland.
