This holiday home has a fantastic location directly on Lake Bolmen. Here you can enjoy the evening sun and the panoramic view of Lake Bolmen on the large balcony. Why not take a morning dip in the lake which is right outside the cottage. You live in the cottage area Sjöhagen and are close to Bolmstad Säteri where you can rent boats and motors. Down by Bolmstad harbor there is also a ramp if you want to launch a boat. It is only 12 km to Ljungby, where there is a lot to find.

Beskrivning
House Leif is a cosy cottage with a fantastic location directly on Lake Bolmen. This holiday home is suitable for max. 4 adults and 2 children and is 64+13 m². You sit on the large terrace and enjoy the evening sun with a fantastic panoramic view of the lake. There is a master bedroom with a 1.60 bed and here you wake up looking out over the lake. The second bedroom has a bunk bed where the lower bunk is 1.40. Then there is a loft with steep stairs, sometimes children find it fun to lie up there on mattresses. You have a large living room with large glass sections facing the lake. There is a fireplace for cooler evenings and TV. Wifi via fibre and chromecast are included in the rent. The kitchen has an electric hob / oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower, WC and washing machine. High chair and cot are available in the house. The plot is 850 m² and there is also a sitting area at the front of the cottage where you can enjoy your morning coffee. Here, of course, there arepatio furniture and barbecue. Best of all is the sauna with a panoramic view. It is wood-burning and you pay SEK 30 for a sack of wood. The house is insulated all year round and has an air source heat pump for heating. A Canadian can be rented for SEK 300 per week. The nearest bathing area with a sandy beach is located directly to the right of the cottage at the common bathing area in Sjöhagen. Here you also have a boat berth that belongs to the cottage. You can rent a boat and motor at Bolmstad Säteri.
Lake Bolmen is Sweden’s tenth-largest lake and offers excellent swimming and fishing opportunities. Here, as well as pike and perch, you can also catch zander. Pay a visit to Tiraholm’s Fish Restaurant or take a trip out to Bolmsö. The nearest town is Ljungby, which is 12 km from your accommodation if you’d like to visit a cosy restaurant such as Gästgivaregården or do a spot of shopping. At Gästis Bolmstad, down by Bolmstad Harbour, you can enjoy a delicious lunch or dinner. There are often performances and dancing here too. There are plenty of moose parks. You can choose between Lagan Moose Park, Elinge Moose Park and Smålandet in Markaryd. Visit Slussen second-hand shop in Lagan, where you can enjoy a shrimp sandwich. The Cliff Burton Museum and Lagan’s golf course – featuring an 18-hole course and a restaurant – are other places worth visiting.

A deposit of SEK 1500 or EUR 150 is payable on arrival.
You can book a cleaning service for 1,200 SEK.

We had a wonderful stay in house Leif. The magnificent view of the Bolmen is simply indescribable. Everything was to our satisfaction with nice contact to the owner.
The house is in a very nice neighbourhood. Lake on the doorstep, quiet presence 👍 We were there over New Year's Eve 24/25. We liked it very much. The electrical appliances (coffee maker / kettle) could be renewed. Otherwise full score 👍
