Beskrivning
Nice cottage located on a former farm in Åby, approx. 3 km from Lagan in Småland. Your accommodation is suitable for a maximum of 6 people and has a living area of 130 m². The plot, which is 3000 m², has a large lawn and the possibility of ball games. There is a barbecue and garden furniture. The property has a private location in the middle of nature but still so close to the centre. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with single beds. There is a small veranda in front of the house and a glazed terrace on the gable with access from the kitchen. The kitchen is fresh with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and WC and an extra toilet. In the basement there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. High chair and cot available in the house. Cosy living room with TV and Wifi via fibre. The house is insulated all year round and has geothermal heating and electricity is included.
You have approx. 500 m. to Skålån where you have fishing opportunities directly from the bridge. Skålån is a river that stretches from Lake Flåren and flows through Lake Huliesjön before it flows into Lagan. There are pike and perch here and if you are lucky you can also catch salmon in Lagan. The nearest lake to fish in is otherwise Huljesjön 3.8 km. At Huljesjön there is a bird tower for those interested in bird watching. The nearest swimming area with a sandy beach is at Lake Flåren 5.7 km from your accommodation. Flåren offers great swimming and fishing opportunities. In addition to pike and perch, you can also catch pike-perch here and it is possible to hire a boat. There are many more lakes in the area such as Lake Furen, Vidöstern, Bolmen etc. In Lagan you have an ICA store and petrol station. Visit Slussen secondhand where you can have a coffee. There is also Laganland with souvenirs, Cliff Burton museum, Lagans Golf course with an 18-hole course and restaurant. Ljungby is the centre if you want to visit a cosy restaurant or do some shopping. Here are many museums such as. Sagomuseet. Visit Gästgivaregården in Ljungby for a cosy lunch. You can eat good cheesecake at Sussies café in Flattinge. There are moose parks in Lagan, Elinge Älgpark and Smålandet in Markaryd.
