Nice holiday home in the countryside in Åby by the river Skålån, 3 km from Lagan. Well-equipped year-round house with all amenities. Here you can have nice nature experiences such as fishing, bird watching and hiking and at the same time have proximity to the center and the E4 if you are passing through. Enjoy the silence here at Ågården.

Beskrivning
Nice cottage located on a former farm in Åby, approx. 3 km from Lagan in Småland. The cottage is suitable for a maximum of 6 people and has a living area of 130 m². The plot, which is 3000 m², has a large grass area and the possibility of ball games. The accommodation has a private location in the middle of nature but still so close to the centre. The cottage has 3 bedrooms, one with a double bed and two with single beds. There is a small veranda in front of the house and a glazed terrace will be built on the gable shortly. The kitchen will then have direct access to the terrace. The house will also have new panelling and be painted red. The kitchen is fresh with induction hob, oven, microwave, fridge / freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom with shower and WC and an extra toilet. In the basement there is a washing machine and tumble dryer. High chair and cot available in the house. Cosy living room with TV and Wifi via fibre. The house is insulated all year round and has geothermal heating and electricity is included. On the plot there is garden furniture and barbecue.
You have approx. 500 m. to Skålån, where you can fish directly from the bridge. Skålån is a stream that stretches from lake Flåren and flows through Lake Huliesjön before it flows into Lagan. There are pike and perch here. The nearest lake to fish in is otherwise Lake Huljesjön 3.8 km. There is also a bird tower here for those interested in bird watching. The nearest bathing place with a sandy beach is at lake Flåren 5.7 km from your accommodation. Flåren offers great swimming and fishing opportunities. Here, in addition to pike and perch, you can also catch zander and there is the possibility to rent a boat. There are many more lakes in the area such as Lake Furen, Vidöstern, Bolmen etc. In Lagan you have an ICA store and gas station. Visit Slussen secondhand where you can have a coffee. There is also Laganland with souvenirs, Cliff Burton museum, Lagans Golf course with an 18-hole course and restaurant. Ljungby is the center if you want to visit a cozy restaurant or do some shopping. There are many museums here, such as The Fairy Tale Museum. Visit Gästgivaregården in Ljungby for a cozy lunch. You eat good cheesecake at Sussie's café in Flattinge. Elk parks can be found both in Lagan, Elinge Älgpark and Smålandet in Markaryd.
