Beskrivning
Granelund is a cosy cottage 4 km from Lake Åsnen outside Urshult. The cottage is suitable for a maximum of 4 people and has a living area of 60 m². The plot, which is 1100 m², has an apple tree that blooms nicely in May. The cottage has 1 bedroom with a double bed and direct access to the built-in conservatory. There is also an open terrace if you want to enjoy your morning coffee and nature. In the living room there is a sofa bed for 2 people. The simple annex has a bunk bed which is more suitable for children. The kitchen has an electric hob/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer. In the cottage there is German TV and the cottage is heated via air heat pump. Garden furniture, barbecue and high chair included. The cottage has a small but functional bathroom, with sink and shower in one, while a passage to the toilet.
Urshult is located on Lake Åsnen, which offers good fishing for zander, pike and perch. You can enjoy the fine hiking trails in Åsnen National Park. Visit Getnö where you can paddle a canoe and enjoy the rich bird life. Åsnen has a unique inland archipelago with more than a thousand islands and many bays are best done by kayak or canoe. Take the car to Sirkön and experience the beautiful view at Lunnebacken and enjoy all the apple orchards. Then you can continue all the way to Torne where there is good fishing from the bridge. You are close to Tingsryd where you can shop at Börjes and have a good lunch by Lake Tiken at the restaurant Mårdslycke Krog. Here at Tingsryd Resort you can also play tennis and mini golf and enjoy swimming and fishing. If you want to discover the coast, it is not far to Karlshamn where you eat well at the fish restaurant at Väggahamnen. Lake Mien is also a lovely destination within easy reach. The lake offers great swimming spots and is said to be the site of a large meteorite impact 50 million years ago.
A deposit of SEK 1500 or EUR 150 is payable on arrival.
Electricity is extra (3.50 SEK/KWh).
Pets are welcome but smoking and youth groups are discouraged.
